Wayne Miller |

Attorney
John Wayne Miller is the managing partner of Miller &
Cohen. He received his B.A. from the University of Dayton
(1966) and his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado.
He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1969 and the U.S.
Supreme Court in 1978.
John is past-president of
the Boulder County Bar Association, an association of over
1,000 members. From 1980 to 1984, he served on the Board of
Governors of the Colorado State Bar Association. At the
appointment of Governor Richard Lamm, John served on the
Judicial Nominating Commission for a five-year term.
John is an
active member of the Commercial Law League of America.
Founded in 1895, the CLLA is North America's
premier organization for bankruptcy and commercial law
professionals. From 1994-95, John served as
Chairman of the CLLA's Western Region, and from 1996-1999 he
served on the CLLA Board of Governors. John currently serves
on several CLLA Committees, including the CLLA Uniform Laws Committee.
John is, also,
active in the International Association of Commercial
Collectors, Inc. (IACC), an international trade association
with over 240 commercial specialists and 160 commercial
attorneys. He served the board of this organization from 2001
to 2006, and has been a speaker at its meetings.
John has also
served as president of the Longmont Rotary Club and is the
founder of the Dukes softball team. He is the father of
Hayley, age 27 (Honors Graduate, Cum Laude, Loyola University,
Chicago, 2000), and Al,
age 31 (B.A., Colorado University, 1998). |

| Arlene
Cohen Miller |

Attorney
Arlene Cohen Miller is a partner at Miller & Cohen. She
received her B.A. from Emory University (Atlanta) in 1978
and her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky in
1981. Arlene is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Ohio,
and Colorado.
Arlene is an
active member of the CLLA. She served on the Executive
Counsel of the Midwest Region before moving to Colorado in
1996. On the national level, she has served on the
Nominating and Membership Committees. Arlene served as Chair
of the Creditor's Rights Section from 2000-2001, and as its
Board Representative from 2001-2002. She served as Chair of
the Western Region from 2003-2005. Arlene has, also, chaired
and served on various Creditor's Rights Section Commitees,
including the Promotion & Development and Membership
Committees.
Arlene is,
also, an active member of the IACC. She speaks on
"Manifesting Prosperity in Your Business", and loves to
share her insights and know-how on this topic.
Arlene is
listed in the 1987/88 edition of Who's Who in American Law.
She has received Certificates of Appreciation for time and
service from the Cleveland Legal Aid Society, the Cleveland
Adopt-A-Class Program, and the Cleveland Bar Association
Bi-Centennial Committee. In May of 1990, she was named
"Businessperson of the Day" by Radio 11/WWWE,
Cleveland. Arlene is the mother of Jesse, age 22, a theater
major at the University of Wyoming. Her
hobbies are Bikram (Hot) Yoga, Skiing and Hiking. |

Peterson |

Attorney Bill Peterson
became associated with Miller & Cohen in 2000, when
he was admitted to the Colorado Bar. Since that time,
Bill has been the firm's primary litigator. He received
his B.A. from Colorado State University in 1993 and his
Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado in 1997.
Bill also volunteers service with a number of charitable
organizations. In his spare time, he is a fiction writer
and below-average golfer.
Attorney
Sarah Young joined the firm in 2008. Sarah received her
undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of
Manitoba. She graduated with distinction from the University
of North Dakota School of Law in 2005. She recently received
her Master of Public Administration from the University
of North Dakota. She is licensed to practice law in North
Dakota and Colorado. Sarah enjoys gardening, pottery, traveling
and spending time with her family. |
